Kigali, Rwanda – The United African Institute of Technology (UAIT) is proud to announce a strategic collaboration with Arise AI Agency for the launch of their inaugural Arise Fellowship Program.

As Arise AI Agency kicks off this groundbreaking six-month initiative today to cultivate Rwanda's next generation of Artificial Intelligence pioneers, UAIT has stepped forward as the key infrastructure partner, hosting the program within our campus.

A Model of Industry-Academic Cooperation

This partnership stands as a prime example of effective "Industry-Academic Cooperation." While Arise AI brings high-level industry expertise, mentorship, and real-world client projects, UAIT is providing the essential physical and digital environment required for high-level tech innovation.

What UAIT is Providing

To ensure the success of the fellows, UAIT is fully sponsoring and providing:

  • Dedicated Office Space: A professional working environment for fellows to collaborate.
  • High-Performance Computing: Access to the hardware necessary for complex AI tasks.
  • Connectivity: Reliable, high-speed internet infrastructure.

Bridging the Gap

The Arise Fellowship Program aims to bridge the gap between academic theory and professional practice. By hosting this program on-site, UAIT is creating a direct pathway for talent development. Fellows will not just be studying; they will be working as in-house talent, building professional portfolios under the roof of an educational institution.

"We believe that an educational institute must be more than just classrooms; it must be a hub where learning meets application. By providing the full office and technical environment for Arise AI, we are actively participating in the creation of a sustainable AI ecosystem in Rwanda."

— UAIT Administration

We welcome the inaugural cohort of fellows to the UAIT campus and look forward to witnessing the innovations they will create over the next six months.
