UAIT Piano Academy Students Shine at 25th Global New Praise Video Festival

The United African Institute of Technology (UAIT) is happy to share that three young students from our Piano Academy participated in the 25th Global New Praise Video Festival. All three received awards for their performances, and one student earned a Special Award with a scholarship—a wonderful recognition of their hard work and dedication.

A Festival That Encourages Young Musicians

The Global New Praise Video Festival, now celebrating its 25th year, is an annual event organized by the New Praise Support Society. The festival focuses on discovering young musical talent and encouraging children to develop their skills through praise music. Participants under 23 years old from around the world submit video performances of hymns and praise songs.

What makes this festival special is its mission to support young musicians through scholarships and performance opportunities. Winners may be invited to perform at recitals and receive financial support to continue their music lessons.

Our Students' Achievement

The three UAIT Piano Academy students prepared video performances of praise music under the guidance of their instructors. Each submitted a video following the festival's guidelines—recorded in one continuous take without editing, showing both their faces and hands as they played.

All three students received recognition from the judging panel, which includes experienced musicians and music educators. One student earned a Special Award, which comes with a scholarship to support continued music education—a meaningful achievement that will help this young musician grow.
